Best Marowak Deck Build In Pokemon TCG Pocket
Genetic Apex is the first ever digital card set to be released in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket. In this set, there are plenty of powerful cards that work brilliantly as ace cards to build a solid deck around. However, with the wide variety of cards and possible combinations that are possible when opening packs, collecting cards, and building a deck out of just twenty cards at a time, this task can often be quite tricky when it comes to working out what works well, and what does not.
Marowak is one of the best choices to build around when considering a Ground Type deck, and a fairly solid Pokemon in terms of going up against other popular choices in the Genetic Apex meta. However, knowing which bonus Pokemon and other cards can be included to further boost Marowak’s strengths and establish a solid strategy is important. For this reason, players who are looking to build a Marowak Deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket can find all of the information they’ll need in the guide below – including a card list with the best setup.

Best Marowak Deck Build In Pokemon TCG Pocket
The most important thing to consider when building a Marowak deck is the fact that your strategy, for the most part, will be relying strongly on luck being on your side. This is because the Bonemerang attack on Marowak ex deals 80 damage per successful coin flip out of two, each turn. This means Bonemerang can deal a whopping 160 damage per turn when luck is on your side, or zero damage per turn if both flips fail.
Diglett and Dugtrio are the most popular choices for Pokemon to incorporate inside your deck alongside the Marowak line. This is because they are relatively low on Energy cost, with Dugtrio being able to use the Dig move while having just one Energy attached. This move will deal 40 damage to the opponent per turn, as well as potentially give Dugtrio immunity from incoming damage and effects if a successful coin flip occurs.
This means that essentially, Dugtrio can last longer in the Active Pokemon position while you take the time to get Marowak powered up and ready for play. Once more threatening opponents make their way onto the bench, players can simply rotate Marowak ex into play to take over, which can be assisted with the likes of X Speed. Including Potion enables some extra healing either for Dugtrio until Marowak can get on the field, or for Marowak once it’s in play, to extend its time on the field. Giovanni can also enable you to tip your damage up just enough to overpower certain targets that would otherwise be close to a 1-hit KO with Marowak.
