8 Dead By Daylight Killers With The Best Perks
New players trying to decide on the best Killers in Dead by Daylight may want to try the following characters for their stellar perks.
Huntress players thrive on two types of maps – those with open spaces where she is free to fling hatchets, or indoor maps with long corridors and nowhere for the Survivors to hide. Of course, most players have their own preferences, but there are some realms everyone can agree are the best of all for The Huntress.
5 Rancid Abattoir
Coldwind Farm
- Pros: Bright map, plenty of space, easy-to-access lockers.
- Cons: Hale bales can become annoying obstacles.
Coldwind Farm was introduced with The Hillbilly but has had some extensive reworking over the years to make it brighter and smaller. This updating may not be popular with all players but it has proved to be an advantage for some. Coldwind Farm is a realm where many Huntress players can easily see their victims, even in the dense cornfields. It can be very satisfying to land a hatchet on an unsuspecting Survivor who thought they had lost the Killer in the fields.
Any of the Coldwind Farm maps are fun to play as Huntress, with plenty of opportunities to achieve sniper throws over the building or from the hill. There are lockers placed generously in these maps, giving the player the chance to reload quickly. According to map stats on NightLight.gg, the Coldwind Farm maps have some above-average kill rates for Huntress at an average of 52.16%.
4 Silent Hill
Midwich Elementary School
- Pros: Long corridors, lots of lockers for quick reloading, exit gates very close together.
- Cons: Two floors, mostly indoors, no chance of trick shots.
Midwich Elementary School was introduced with the Silent Hill chapter in June 2020. The map has two floors of classrooms connected by long corridors. Despite it being an indoor map, not a favorite choice for some Killers, Huntress makes the most out of the log corridors with few places for the Survivors to hide.

Dead By Daylight: The Statistically Worst Survivors (2024)
Certain Dead by Daylight Survivors have a bad track record when it comes to escaping; these characters stand out for being the worst statistically.
A recent map upgrade has added some obstacles in the hallways, but this doesn’t stop Huntress players from dominating this realm. The classrooms allow Huntress to try out her short-range throws as Survivors attempt to throw pallets or vault windows. With a 69% kill rate on this map, it is easy to see why some players prefer it over other indoor maps.
3 Family Residence
Yamaoka Estate
- Pros: Quite a lot of open space, fun to perform trick shots.
- Cons: Easy to get looped around the house, a few too many obstacles.
The Yamaoka Estate, the original home to both The Oni and The Spirit, has two maps to play and both can be great to play as The Huntress. Family Residence has a medium-sized building and a lot of open space to play in, while in the Sanctum of Wrath, Huntress can stand at the top of The Shrine in the center of the map to spot any unsuspecting Survivors.
This realm’s kill rate has an average of 62.9% for The Huntress, and although it is not the first map Huntress players may think of as a favorite, it is a solid choice. Either map has good space in which to let hatchets fly, with the most well-timed throws catching even the best Survivor off guard. As long as players avoid the boulders and statues, The Huntress can do very well here.
2 Mount Ormond Resort
Ormond
- Pros: Light, spacious, plenty of fun with trick shots over the building, and space on the upper landing to throw shots from above.
- Cons: The reworked map has added some tricky structures.
The Mount Ormond Resort, home to The Legion, proves to be a winner time and again for The Huntress. There is something ultimately satisfying about throwing a trick shot over the resort building and seeing it drop through the hole in the roof onto a Survivor inside.

Dead By Daylight: The Statistically Best Survivors (2024)
Some Survivors in Dead by Daylight are statistically better than others when it comes to surviving; here are the best of the bunch.
Ormond is one of the lighter maps in Dead By Daylight, giving players a better chance to throw and land longer shots. Survivors can try to dodge or duck behind a rocky area, but a good Huntress will always know how to time her shots to avoid this. One of the pros of playing Huntress is how useless pallets can be for Survivors. With this map’s pallets and rocks around the main building, it may as well be an open field for The Huntress.
1 Autohaven Wreckers
Gas Heaven
- Pros: Great for long snipes and short shots through vaults, a community favorite for Huntress players.
- Cons: Easy to be looped around the main buildings, some tricky obstacles to avoid.
Authohaven Wreckers is the realm of The Wraith and has a main building usually surrounded by jungle gyms on all sides. The maps have a higher-than-average kill rate for all Killers, and for Huntress players, it is frequently mentioned in discussions of favorite maps. Blood Lodge is at the top of a lot of players’ lists, but they all have a lot of the same pros and cons.
These maps are great for long snipes, especially from atop the hill towards generators. As long as players know which generators are being worked on, it is pretty easy to get the angle right and hit the poor Survivors from afar. The jungle gyms made from crushed cars give Huntress the chance to get short shots at Survivors trying to vault or throw pallets, too. Overall, the Autohaven Wreckers realm is a fun choice with a wide variety of maps for Huntress to dominate in.
