A pair of Borderlands 2 players have achieved the incredible task of finishing the game without ever getting hit. The Borderlands 2 challenge is one that many thought was impossible, but two separate people have pulled it off within hours of each other.
The Borderlands series isn’t known for stealth or no-damage runs. Borderlands 2 has millions of weapons in the game, and as one might expect, there’s plenty of bullets firing from all sides in a typical playthrough. While simply surviving the damage taken is enough for most players, not just one but two fans have now pulled off no-damage runs.

Predicting Borderlands 4’s Villainous Weapons Manufacturer
Each Borderlands game has had one of the weapons manufacturers as a villainous faction, so it’s worth looking at a potential one for Borderlands 4.
A pair of gamers and streamers by the names of Heyblasty and darksmoke11 have successfully completed the story of Borderlands 2 without taking a single hit. To be clear, the two didn’t play together. Heyblasty started the challenge about nine months ago, avoiding hits by using a combination of Axton’s turret, homing grenades, and snipers to take out enemies before they ever had a chance to injure the player. After nine excruciating months, Heyblasty successfully finished the run, but ended up being beaten to the punch by darksmoke11, who pulled off the same goal about 10 hours before Heyblasty completed it.
Borderlands 2 No-Hit Inspired Fan Finished the Goal First
Losing the chance to be the first person to pull off a no-hit run in Borderlands 2 by mere hours would sting for anyone, but darksmoke11 wasn’t the first person to attempt the feat. In fact, Heyblasty took on the challenge first, nine months ago, with darksmoke11 being inspired by Heyblasty and starting their own attempt to beat the game while taking no damage about two months ago. While many would understand Heyblasty being salty about losing by ten hours (and several months’ worth of effort), they’ve been surprisingly calm, even sharing praise for darksmoke11’s success.
It’s incredible that both of these players were able to pull this feat off, especially with darksmoke11 only taking two months to do it. Fans of the game have been stunned by the two’s efforts, with many pointing out how easy it is to take damage when the player doesn’t even know anything’s around them. However, the duo are taking it in stride. Heyblasty has completed many no damage challenges in games other than Borderlands 2, and darksmoke11 seemed surprisingly unmoved by his success. It remains to be seen where the two gamers go from here, but it’s only a matter of time before someone comes along and does the unthinkable in another game like this.
