A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 player has shared an outrageous clip online, showcasing just how bad some of the game’s spawn points are, specifically on the 6v6 multiplayer map Stakeout. While Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has been a massive success for publisher Activision and developer Treyarch Studios, a common complaint from players has been with the game’s lackluster launch maps, along with some questionable spawn points.

After back-to-back years of new entries in the Modern Warfare series, Treyarch returned with a bang with Black Ops 6 on October 25. Unlike previous entries, the latest Call of Duty title has had four years’ worth of development time, leading to some glowing reviews from Black Ops 6 players. Although the shooter’s campaign is being called the best in recent years, multiplayer fans are eager to see some new maps put into the mix with the game’s post-launch updates as players are blasting the launch maps as some of the worst to date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Clip Shows Stakeout’s Awful Spawns

Over on Reddit, user That_Ad_7443 has highlighted just how bad the spawn points are on Black Ops 6‘s Stakeout map with a clip that will make any Call of Duty player’s jaw hit the floor in disbelief. The short clip shows one player receiving the coveted ‘best play’ showcase at the end of the match, where they simply camp on the balcony found on the right-hand side of the map and eliminate seven people in a row as they continue to spawn in the exact same location every time. The response from fans has been mixed, with some users calling the game “trash” while others defend the game by noting that Stakeout was designed to primarily be a 2v2 map.

While plenty of new and returning game modes are coming to Black Ops 6 in the future, a popular playlist choice at the moment is Face Off Moshpit, which only features four maps: Pit, Warhead, Stakeout, and Gala. The modes in the playlist rotate between Domination, Kill Confirmed, Team Deathmatch, and Kill Order, with all scorestreaks being disabled. While two of the aforementioned four maps were designed for team sizes of six, Warhead and Stakeout are primarily for team sizes of two, which can lead to some questionable spawn points, especially on Stakeout, which is just as chaotic as Modern Warfare‘s Shipment.

Thankfully, Season 1 of Black Ops 6 is right around the corner, and Treyarch has already promised to bring back some iconic maps from past titles. It’s currently unconfirmed what new maps and modes will be available with the game’s first major content update, but one player recently discovered a classic World at War map is actually hiding in plain sight in Black Ops 6, leading to speculation that it could be arriving on November 14 with Season 1.
