However, another Fallout-like game set in the UK, Atomfall, could fill the void for Fallout fans waiting for the franchise’s next official installment. Atomfall will be coming to PC and current-gen consoles in March 2025.

Despite its scope, quality, and ambitious setting receiving praise, Fallout: London being a PC-only, fan-made mod, unfortunately, led to it being overlooked by many Fallout franchise fans. It didn’t help that Fallout: London’s launch suffered from technical issues, but in general, the game not being a canon, official entry in the franchise seems to be a deal-breaker for some franchise veterans.

Ultimately, despite facing a mixed reception, Fallout: London seemingly walked so that Atomfall, a new Fallout-like game with a British setting, could run.
