Solo Leveling -ReAwakening Will Release New Episodes In December 2024

After a strong first season, Solo Leveling was greenlit for a second. The new season was announced on September 16, 2024. According to the statement, Solo Leveling season two would be released in January 2025. It’s clear that the studio isn’t wasting any time, and it wants to give fans what they want.

On Monday, Solo Leveling fans got more exciting news. It was revealed that Solo Leveling -ReAwakening would be releasing on December 6, 2024, in theaters in the US and Canada. This omnibus movie will comprise the first season of the anime and two episodes of the upcoming season.

Solo Leveling Season 2 Release Date

Solo Leveling – ReAwakening released a new trailer featuring Sung Jin-woo as he continues his journey of reaching the top of the power rankings. The new trailer can be found below.

Solo Leveling season 2 will be released sometime in January 2025, but the exact date is unconfirmed. The first season began airing on January 7, 2024, so it’s possible that the new one will also premiere on the same date. Solo Leveling season 2 will likely have 13 episodes, and it will go beyond the story of the first season.

Solo Leveling is based on the web novel of the same name written by Chugong. It was originally published on KakaoPage but was later moved to D&C’s Papyrus label. Yen Press is responsible for publishing the web novel in English. So far, Solo Leveling has released 11 volumes.

A sequel to the web novel called Solo Leveling: Ragnarok was announced in April 2023. It acts as the prelude to the story of the original Solo Leveling.

Netmarble was working on a roleplaying game based on Solo Leveling for quite some time, which was titled Solo Leveling Arise. The game was finally released in March 2024, and it received a lot of positive reviews. Currently, the game has over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store.
