How to Beat Orgas in Metaphor: ReFantazio
Although the ultimate goal of many roleplaying adventures is to save the world, there is always time to get up to other interesting activities. You might engage in some cooking, go on treasure hunts, or like in Metaphor: ReFantazio, explore dungeons and take down dangerous beasts in epic hunts. Getting such tasks done will often bring valuable rewards, and it is something that we highly recommend players to do whenever possible.
One such diversion will see players take on the Superior Scrimshaw side quest after speaking to the Craftsman in the Merchants’ Bazaar area of Port Brilehaven. The ask is to defeat the dangerous enemy known as the Orgas and bring home the Ebony Horn. Needless to say, it is not going to be easy to overcome the trials of the Forsaken Tower to the north.

Time to make a fortune in Metaphor: ReFantazio and prepare yourself for the challenges ahead.
After speaking to the NPC in Mercahnts’ Bazaar in Port Brilehaven near the end of July in Metaphor: ReFantazio, players will get the Superior Scrimshaw quest. The task is to slay the Orgas in the Forsaken Tower dungeon and retrieve the Ebony Horn. Before heading off on the long journey, make sure your party is well-equipped and has all the restorative items you’ll need to make the trek.
The majority of the Forsaken Tower will be populated by Goborn enemies and exploring Potolpo, so make quick work of them as quickly as you can. Keep heading up the tower and, eventually, you will reach the seventh floor, where Orgas stands guard. Save your game, and pick the right Metaphor: ReFantazio Archetypes to form your party. Exploiting its weaknesses is the best way to go about the boss battle, so pack your team with Archetypes that can deal Dark damage. That means having a Thief or Assassin will help significantly.
Combat Strategy
Orgas’s main threat stems from its pure physical strength, as well as its range of debuffs. Whenever possible, use Dark attacks to hit it where it hurts and get additional Turn Icons. Whenever it’s the boss’ turn, see if it uses War Cry or Earsplitting Shriek, with the former lowering the party’s Attack and Defense stats, while the latter may cause Daze and increase your chances of missing attacks. You can either use your own buffs, or power on and hope that you don’t miss.
If Orgas uses Charge, try to move the party to the back row and guard to lower the damage coming from the subsequent powerful attack.
Keep up the pressure with Dark attacks, and you will soon emerge victorious.
Aside from the usual rewards, you will also get the Ogre’s Fists, which can be very useful for the Brawler. Return to the quest giver, and you will also earn 25,000 Reeve and 4 Courage Points for your troubles.
