Searching for Everyone Walkthrough in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom
After Zelda mends the rift in the Suthorn Ruins in Echoes of Wisdom, you’ll be reunited with Minister Lefte and unlock a new story quest called “Searching for Everyone.” This quest unlocks the majority of Hyrule in Echoes of Wisdom. However, your goal is to mend the giant rifts in Gerudo Desert and Jabul Waters. In doing so, you may run into some familiar faces and learn more about the mysterious Still World.

“Searching for Everyone” Walkthrough (Echoes of Wisdom)
Where to Go First
Although you manage to free Minister Left from the Still World after Suthorn Ruins, you still haven’t found Minister Wright, the King, or Link. As Tri explains to Lefte, it’s possible they’re trapped in other rifts. “Searching for Everyone” is split into two main quests:
- “A Rift in Gerudo Desert”
- “The Jabul Waters Rift”
You have the option to go to the desert first or the sea/river. Ultimately, the choice doesn’t matter, as you’ll need to complete both. However, if you want Swordfighter’s Bow ability, then you should head to Gerudo Desert. There are also some incredibly useful Echoes in the Gerudo area, such as the Flying Tile and Platboom. Jabul Waters is home to the Bombfish, which is another extremely useful Echo that you’ll be using throughout your playthrough. When you start the story quest for Gerudo Desert and Jabul Waters, you’ll have a few story quests with supporting characters before you can enter the giant rifts (ex: “Chaos at River Zora Village”). Only after you’ve finished both rifts and reunited with Lefte and Wright at Lueberry’s House will you unlock the next main quest: “Still Missing.”

Things to Do During “Searching for Everyone”
Recommended Echoes, Accessories, and More
You’re not on any time limit to complete the giant rifts, so you should build up your Echoes inventory and do some side quests. Nothing’s stopping you from going to areas such as Faron Wetlands to obtain Echoes you’d normally get in the late-game phase. However, Tri’s power won’t exceed level 4 until you’ve completed “Still Missing.” So, while you can obtain Echoes early, you may not be able to use them if they require five triangles of their power.
Some Echoes you may find useful for the dungeons in “Searching for Everyone” are the elemental Keese (Electric Keese (Faron Wetlands), Ice Keese (Holy Mount Lanayru)), Fire Octo and Lizalfos Lv. 2 on Eldin Volcano. You may also want to learn the Buzz Blob Echo in Faron Wetlands. This is a weaker Echo, but it requires fewer triangles than the elemental Keese.
There are two powerful Echoes in the Eternal Forest: Sword Moblin Lv. 3 and Lynel. However, until Tri has 5 and 6 triangles respectively, you won’t be able to use them.
You should also go to Hyrule Ranch (west of Hyrule Castle Town) and do the “Runaway Horse” side quest, which unlocks the rental horses. Zelda will get her own horse in a later side quest, but for now, the rentals will do. If you head west of Hyrule Ranch, you’ll find Kakariko Village. Here, you can do the “Cuccos on the Loose” side quest to get a Fairy Bottle.
There are also Heart Pieces that can be obtained from caves or side quests. Some of these Heart Pieces can only be reached with a specific Echo, like Holmill. You can also look for Might Crystals to upgrade Swordfighter Form. You won’t be able to upgrade the sword/energy/bow to max level until you’ve completed “Still Missing.” However, you should at least farm enough Might Crystals to build up Swordfighter’s Energy and Sword before returning to Hyrule Castle Town.
Finally, you should visit the Great Fairy at Lake Hylia. Lake Hylia is north of Lueberry’s house, and you can reach it by using a Crawltula Echo to scale the trees/cliffs. The Great Fairy will expand your Accessory Limit, allowing Zelda to equip more than one Accessory. During “Searching for Everyone,” it’s unlikely you’ll be able to get upgraded Accessories, such as the Curious Charm. However, it’s recommended you at least have two Accessory slots before starting the next story quest (“Still Missing”).
