How to Complete Lost Souls in Throne and Liberty
The Lost Souls quest is a part of the Codex challenges in the Shattered Temple region of Throne and Liberty. It’ll have players helping a Purelight Wizard put some poor souls to rest, and while the process itself is fairly easy, actually doing them can be a bit confusing.
This quest involves freeing the spirits in question. Reaching the places you need to go to is probably the hardest part of Lost Souls, but unlike Throne and Liberty’s Treasure of Daybreak quest, this one requires no fancy steps and is fairly simple to complete once you know what to do.

Throne and Liberty Lost Souls Walkthrough
To start this quest, head to the Light Sanctum Ruins in the Shattered Temple region. There’s a wizard outside the temple, watching over some undead in the pit below. Speak with him, and he’ll ask you for help in laying rest to the poor, lost souls. Very little combat is involved here, but as always, upgrade your equipment in Throne and Liberty if you’re having difficulty surviving. The quest steps here are:
- Speak with the Wizard.
- Interact with the Wandering Spirits below.
- Interact with the Soul Magic Orb in the ruined tower next to the waypoint.
- While burning from the Soul Magic Orb, douse yourself in the waterfall near the tower.
- Speak with the Wizard again.
How to Reach the Soul Magic Orb
The first two parts are self-explanatory. Talk to the wizard and touch the ghost orb at the bottom of the pit. After this, you need to reach the interior of the ruined tower by teleporting to the waypoint and climbing the tree branches. Reach the highest branch as pictured above, and jump to open window.
Next, touch the Soul Magic Orb, and a blue flame will cover your body. Once you start burning, use your Glide Morph to reach the nearby waterfall. It should be slightly to the right of the window next to the Soul Magic Orb. Just touch the water, and you’ll extinguish the flames and scratch the objective off your list.
From here, all that’s left to do is talk to the wizard again. He’ll thank you for your work and give you a handful of money and materials as a reward. This includes some Precious Armor Growthstones and a Precious Polished Crystal. The former is for upgrading purple-tier gear, while the latter is for making more Precious Growthstones and other materials.
