Best Healers In Honkai: Star Rail
A healer is always crucial to have in any combat-based game, including Honkai: Star Rail. When Trailblazers first start their journey, a healer may appear unnecessary, especially as they already have March 7th to shield their teammates. However, once people start coming across more intimidating opponents, they will find that having a healer and a cleanser is necessary to survive enemies’ deadly hits.

Honkai: Star Rail – Aventurine Boss Fight Guide
Table of Contents
Aventurine boss fight in Honkai: Star Rail revolves around the man’s obsession with gambling.
Therefore, it’s important to know every healer available in Honkai: Star Rail, their ranking, and how to use them, especially when considering that each has different Elements and features that make them unique.
Updated on October 14, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: When it comes to healers in Honkai: Star Rail, the list of characters doesn’t increase often, but the position may change according to the meta and recently released units. For example, Gallagher debuted as a niche teammate for Acheron, but he’s now one of the best healers to raise as he synergizes with the Break meta, led by Firefly and Boothill. Of course, following the success of Gallagher, he immediately got slightly powercrept by a better version of himself, someone from the Xianzhou alliance called Lingsha.
7 Natasha
Dedicated healer, but doesn’t do anything else
Players will get Natasha for free after obtaining the medical supplies she needs in the main quest. Although she’s a free character, players shouldn’t underestimate her as she does her job perfectly. The leader of the Wildfire heals on both her Skills and Ultimate. For Skill, she restores HP to an ally while giving them a buff that further heals them at the beginning of their turn (for the next two turns), but its recovery is lowered.
If players use Natasha’s Skill, they will restore a large amount of energy for Natasha. Players typically can regain Natasha’s Ultimate by using two Skills and one Basic Attack. This means players can forcefully use Natasha’s Skill to ensure her Ultimate is always available as a panic button. As for her Talent, the Underworld doctor has the ability to enhance her healing if the ally has less than 30% HP.

Honkai: Star Rail – Acheron Build Guide
Acheron is a special Nihility character in Honkai: Star Rail, where her Energy is non-existent, and her damage feels like a Hunt character.
Other than healing, once players unlock the Soothe Trace, she will also remove one debuff on the target ally when she Skills, which means she can easily remove Crowd Control effects like Frozen. This will come a long way in players’ journey against enemies that constantly incapacitate the team.
All in all, Natasha is far from bad and definitely can help players on a long journey. Unfortunately, most other healers that are currently available in Honkai: Star Rail are 5-stars, so it’s no surprise that she has to settle with the bottom rank.
6 Bailu
Great healing and can revive, but lacks cleansing
Bailu is a Standard Character who treads on the Path of Abundance. Her entire kit largely revolves around healing, be it her Skill, Ultimate, Talent, or Technique. With Bailu’s Skill, she heals one ally based on her Max HP, and then, the healing will bounce randomly two more times, healing 15% less each time.
As for Bailu’s Ultimate, she heals all allies while applying the Invigoration buff. When an ally with this buff gets attacked, they will immediately restore HP based on Bailu’s Max HP. This means players don’t have to worry when their team is getting attacked under Bailu’s Invigoration effect. Other than her Skill and Ultimate, Bailu will immediately grant the Invigoration effect for two turns when she uses her Technique before the battle.
On top of the Invigoration effect, Bailu’s Talent can also revive an ally when they’re knocked down, immediately healing them along the way; the revived ally will not lose their buffs and energy, allowing them to maintain all the previous states. This effect can only trigger once per battle, but those who have journeyed with Bailu will know that once per battle is game-changing all the same, especially in content like Simulated Universe where players can constantly revive after battling each enemy.
5 Luocha
Effortless healing that fits everywhere
Unlike Natasha and Bailu who scales with HP, Luocha’s healing scales with his ATK, which means he can even perform offensively. Now, add to the fact that Luocha has a high base ATK (102 at Lv1, compared to Natasha, Bailu, Seele, and Himeko which have 64, 76, 87, and 102, respectively), it further emphasizes the potential that he has.
By using Luocha’s Skill, he will heal one ally by a percentage of his ATK plus a flat number. Additionally, he obtains one stack of his Talent. When a team member’s HP drops under 50%, he will automatically use his Skill, which won’t consume players’ Skill Points, yet still give the stack. However, this effect has a limit; it can only be triggered again after two turns, which means it won’t happen endlessly.

Honkai: Star Rail – Clock Studios Theme Park Chest, Trotter, And Lordly Trashcan Locations
Clock Studios Theme Park is a large entertainment center in Penacony and Honkai: Star Rail players can find many chests and puzzles there.
After Luocha holds two stacks, he will consume them and create a field upon the enemy. This field heals any ally that attacks the enemy, lasting for Luocha’s two turns. The healing is lower than his Skill, but considering it can be used multiple times, it’s an amazing effect. This system is somewhat similar to Genshin Impact Qiqi, who places a debuff on the enemy and allows the active character to heal while attacking the marked opponent.
Meanwhile, unlike Natasha and Bailu who heal with their Ultimate, Luocha deals Imaginary DMG to all enemies while removing one of their buffs. He will also gain one stack this way, so players can even rely on this for a constant stream of healing.
4 Lynx
Mediocre healer but with utilities
Lynx has two main features that make herself a notable healer in Honkai: Star Rail. To start, she’s the first unit in the game that can cleanse debuff from the entire team via her Ultimate. Typically, characters can only cleanse debuff from one character at a time, but Lynx can do this for everyone. Next, her Skill can place Survival Response on a character. If the affected character follows the Path of Preservation or Destruction, it’ll increase the chance of the said unit getting attacked. This is perfect to ensure the tank is the one taking hits or to utilize certain abilities like Blade’s Talent.
However, note that Lynx’s healing is on the lower-end of the spectrum, so players should be careful and don’t overestimate the HP she’ll restore with her ability.
3 Gallagher
A healer and debuffer
Unlike every other Abundance character on this list, Gallagher’s healing doesn’t scale with his own stat, but instead provides a flat amount based on his Trace’s level. The only way to raise his healing is by boosting his Outgoing Healing bonus, which can be done by using Relics or by increasing his Break Effect stat.

Honkai: Star Rail – Firefly Build Guide
Players must farm diligently for Firefly build in Honkai: Star Rail as her best-in-slot items are specifically made for her.
While flat healing has its downside, it also has its advantages. For instance, players don’t have to worry about building a specific stat on Gallagher and can choose between making him more offensive or more tanky. Other than healing, Gallagher also can debuff enemies with his Ultimate and enhanced Basic Attack. Obviously, this part of his kit is made so that he can be a better teammate for Acheron in Honkai: Star Rail, but other than that, it also makes him an SP-positive character. Apart from Acheron, Gallagher is also an excellent healer for Break DPS, especially Firefly.
2 Lingsha
5-Star Gallagher
Lingsha is practically a 5-star Gallagher. She works best with Break DPS as she applies a debuff that causes enemies to take more Break DMG, but she also has other utilities. To start, Lingsha’s healing is highly reliable, and she can do it effortlessly. Lingsha heals with her Skill, Ultimate, and follow-up attack, scaling with her ATK. When her follow-up attack summons deals damage and heals, it will also remove one debuff from all allies, making her the best cleanser in the game so far. Because Lingsha’s summons would perform frequent follow-up attacks, she’s also a great unit to pair with Feixiao if Aventurine isn’t available.
1 Huohuo
An Abundance and Harmony character at the same time
Huohuo is not the best healer in Honkai: Star Rail, but putting her in a team is basically like having an Abundance and Harmony character at the same time. Huohuo only heals via her Skill and Talent, while her Ultimate grants Energy to the entire team based on each unit’s maximum Energy, and also boosts their ATK. This is like having a free Tingyun on a healer. In fact, players can even bring both Huohuo and Tingyun at the same time to make Ultimate-heavy characters like Imbibitor Lunae play more comfortably. If Skill Points are an issue, then simply drag Sparkle into the party, and players are guaranteed to be highly comfortable even when running a DPS as demanding as Dan Heng IL.
However, as Huohuo only heals from her Skill and passive, if players are going against hard-hitting bosses, her recovery may not be sufficient.
