In Wizard of Legend 2, players can customize their Wizard in various ways. From cosmetic changes to your cloak and headpiece to the selection of your starting arcana, these decisions can be hugely impactful to your run. One choice you should never overlook is the Relic you bring with you. This first relic can change your playstyle in all kinds of ways and enable Arcana combos that would otherwise be impractical to become truly stunning.

After grabbing that first relic, you’ll be able to find more as you progress through the trials, either inside chests or in the hands of merchants. To succeed in the Trials of Legend in Wizard of Legend 2, you’ll need to choose wisely and assemble a set of Relics that enhance your playstyle.

One of these relics will be unlocked by default when you start the game (the damage boosting Relic for your chosen element) and the rest can be unlocked for 20 Chaos Gems each by speaking with Moulin in the Hub. Some particularly valuable relics among this collection, which you should prioritize, are shown below:

  • The other Four Element Boosting Relics: They’ll be invaluable as you expand your collection of Arcana, and can be used to add a ton of damage to a build that mostly utilizes a single element.
  • Star Trinket: This is another great one, providing a simple and effective damage boost to every spell in your arsenal. If you’re using more than two elements in your starting loadout this is a solid pick.
  • BerserKing Sandwich: Easily one of the best Healing Relics in the game, this beauty can keep you healthy for way longer and pairs brilliantly with many of the Relics you can find during a run. (Such as the Holy Sword or Vampire’s Eyeglasses)
  • Elixir of Might: Another great choice, especially when you pair it with healing Relics during a run (see above for some ideas), this Elixir can give you a damage boost comparable to the Element Boosting Relics for every single Arcana you use, as long as you keep your health high. If you’re confident in your dodging and/or find a good set of healing Relics, you can get a lot of mileage out of this one.
  • Azhi Dahaka’s Eye: The Relic of Choice for Dragon Spells, this Relic offers a massive damage bonus to Dragon-themed builds. With the recent patch making Flame Breath function as a Dragon Spell, there are more options than ever to take advantage of the sheer damage this offers. Naturally, it ONLY offers damage, but if you can stay alive and reliably land attacks, it will take down the strongest of foes with tremendous speed. By pairing this Relic with the Dragon Egg Relic (which can currently only be found during a run), you can conjure huge Dragon Heads to dish out extra damage when you cast Dragon spells, which is both fun and devastating against most enemies.
  • Knight’s Bracelet: A more situational Relic with incredible applications against bosses, picking this Relic means stunned enemies will take 20% more damage from anything you throw at them. This makes it way easier to tear down a boss’ health bar, though it’s unlikely to come into play against standard enemies.
  • Cernnunos’ Horn:Summon Damage is pretty handy if you can grab some Summon Relics during a run, like Imp’s Left Hand or Djinn’s Right Hand. These Relics tend to become more powerful as you accrue more and more of them, so you could potentially get a lot of damage out of this Relic if you’re focusing on it.

Best Relics to Find During a Run in Wizard of Legend 2

Aside from the Relics you can choose at the start, you can also supplement your build mid-run with Relics sold by the Merchant or found inside certain chests. You can also acquire cursed Relics (which grant a benefit and a penalty) after going into certain portals and beating two waves of enemies.

While all Relics provide utility in the right loadout, this list will discuss some particularly potent options and how they pair with other Relics to great effect:

Notes/Advice

Imp’s Left Hand & Djinn’s Right Hand

The Imp’s Left Hand throws fireballs at nearby enemies, while the Djinn’s Right Hand throws energy bolts.

While handy for extra damage on their own, these two show their true strength when brought together. Combining them creates the Relic “Ahriman’s Hands”, which retains the benefits of both while also burning enemies on impact.

Holy Sword

Melee Standard Arcana heal you when they hit.

Excellent on its own, this melee Relic gets even stronger if you pair it with other combat-healing options, like the Vampire’s Eyeglasses and the BerserKing Burger.

Vampire’s Eyeglasses

Critical Attacks heal you when they hit.

Another great healing relic, pair this with any Relic that increases Critical Hit Chance (or grab Arcana Enhancements that do the same) and you’ll be able to reliably heal just by dealing damage.

Adrenaline Potion

Gain a 10% Damage Bonus after using a Charged Signature Arcana.

Like most Damage Boosting Relics, you can stack the Adrenaline Potion with other Damage Boosting Relics to really amp up your damage. You can also take advantage of effects that help you gain Signature Charge quicker to ensure the buff is active as often as possible.

Ice Cold Heart

Holds an Ice Sword and attacks nearby enemies, freezing them.

This pairs excellently with the Lightning Conductor Relic, freezing enemies in place and setting them up for huge bursts of lightning damage. It also works well with Earth Arcana, shattering frozen foes.

Mirror of Might

Doubles the Damage Bonus from all other Artifacts.

If you brought any kind of damage-boosting artifact into the trials or picked up one while challenging the trials, then this Relic is an incredible upgrade.
