With the release of Silent Hill 2 Remake, many players will be trying to explore the eerie town of Silent Hill. With monsters roaming around the streets, exploration can be limited as players will try to avoid any enemy they can and focus on the story, missing out on some great rewards that are accessible early on.

During the exploration, players will find the Grand Market on Neely Street with a closed door. To the back of the store is an open gate players can go through and find a metal door with a keypad. Finding the code for this keypad can be confusing, so here is all you need to know about the location of the keypad and the code.

After interacting with the keypad, head out of the gate and turn right off Neely Street. Turn left and approach Neely’s bar on Sanders Street. Players interested in Silent Hill games with great combat will find a truck with a body leaning next to it. You can interact with two Memos, which will give you a clue about the code for the keypad.

The person dead near the truck has tried all numbers from 0000 to 4439 and felt he was close to unlocking the door. Two enemies nearby will attack you when you approach the dead body, so it is best to deal with them first or pick up the Memo quickly and make a run for it.

You can now return to the keypad with this information and continue where he left off. Continuing from 4440 will not take you a lot of attempts, but if you do not want to wait around or have enemies around you, simply enter “4444”. Inside the Grand Market, you will find three Health Drinks and a few packs of the Handgun Ammo. These are useful to have, especially in the starting section.

Players who find some of the areas in the game a little too hard to see, do not need to worry, as they can
get their hands on a Flashlight
fairly early in the game.
