Popular American Twitch and YouTube content creator Tfue recently revealed the extensive damage Hurricane Helene caused to his home. This news left many of his fans shocked and concerned as the Twitch personality navigates the challenges of recovering from the natural disaster.

Turner “Tfue” Tenney is one of the most popular and followed Twitch streamers, boasting an impressive 11.4 million followers. While he’s best known for his Fortnite gameplay, Tfue regularly showcases his skills in other competitive shooters, like Call of Duty: Warzone, Z1: Battle Royale, Apex Legends, and more. Beyond Twitch, he’s built a significant presence on YouTube as well, where he has attracted over 11.7 million subscribers.

On September 26, Hurricane Helene struck Florida, causing widespread devastation. The storm led to fatalities, leveled communities, knocked out power, and left many stranded in floodwaters. Twitch star Tfue was among those affected, with the hurricane hitting his area, prompting concern from his fans about his safety. Tfue updated his followers on Twitter, sharing that his home was experiencing dangerous storm surge levels and urging everyone to stay safe. He later posted a video showing his flooded house, expressing his sadness and shock at how much the water levels had risen.

Former Fortnite pro Tfue shared another video highlighting the extensive damage to his childhood home, revealing the extent of the destruction, including sand filling his house, a missing fence, and more. Both this video and his earlier one quickly gained traction on social media, generating over 2.3 million views each and eliciting shocked reactions from fans. One user expressed their disbelief and concern, saying they were praying for him and acknowledged how scary floods can be. Another user offered prayers that irreplaceable items were kept out of reach of the water and expressed sympathy for everyone facing home destruction. Many others shared well-wishes for the recovery of his home, expressing gratitude that he was safe amid the devastation.

While it’s a relief to hear that Tfue is safe following this natural disaster, it is noteworthy that incidents involving streamers encountering such situations often happen, with some occurring during live broadcasts. For instance, in January, a Twitch streamer’s live feed inadvertently documented an earthquake that struck the coast of central Japan. In another case, popular Twitch streamer Shroud experienced an abrupt interruption in his Apex Legends match due to an earthquake.
